Infosys signs agreement with EU firm to digitize global operations

Global software giant Infosys signed a five-year agreement with the leading European automotive logistics company Gefco in order to digitise its worldwide operations. Topmost IT behemoth said in a statement that we are associating with the Paris-based Gefco to digitise its multi-modal supply chain services and meanwhile, support its digital movement over the next five decades.

The 70- year old firm Gefco has located in 47 nations and meanwhile, serves around 300 destinations across the globe with almost 15,000 work force. The official head of the company said that as technology partner, we will help to modify the business application management services of the Gefco, strengthen its active enterprise suite to progress into a digitally native firm.

According to the news, it is anticipated that the digitisation will also allow the logistics firms to operate the information in real-time world and also help it brilliantly across the value chain. The chief information officer of Gefco, Jean-Luc Galzi said that we started our digital modification journey along with Infosys as to observe a major digital innovation in the supply chain platform which is key to build up our expertise and assist value to our clients.
