Airlines to accept payroll assist plan
According to the news, some of the leading United States passenger airlines are seeking to accept the amount of a $25 billion proposal for the government’s coronavirus payroll assist plan, with the declarations possible on Tuesday. The officials of the airline industry expect all key airlines to grants the allowances in the upcoming days, and the treasury secretary of the United States of America Steven Mnuchin stated that he expects decisions to release very soon.
The Treasury undersecretary for international affairs, Brent McIntosh said that right now the agency was not decided to modify the payroll assist plan that laid on Friday, which need 30 percent of the investments applicable to each airline to be refund. The government of the United States would also gather authorizations equal to ten percent of the loan figure.
He said that, we have come up with an impartial process that operates for all airline passenger and therefore, we do not want to take part in any kind of discussions that would permit us to create modifications across the carriers. Reportedly, one airline authority told that the primitive carriers may collect only 75 percent of the payroll assist plan sought due to the total money of investments requested exceed to $25 billion.
