A meeting held in March observed OPEC and other countries led by Russia decline to agree to the US oil production drop because of the drastically increasing coronavirus epidemic that has drop demand for oil. The Iranian oil minister Bijan Zabganeh said that he has already talked about the technique of decision making for the session on Thursday with president of OPEC, and Russian as well as Kuwaiti counterparts. Other producers like Canada and the United States should take part in this discussion and there should be a deal related to the production base of each nation which is a major part for production drop.

The United States and Canada are not member of OPEC. However, the officials of the US oil production have been in talks with other oil distributors over the price slump. A founding member of OPEC struggles with its own threats because the American sanctions block it from selling its crude oil across the world since the USA president Donald Trump depart his country from the nuclear deal of Tehran with global powers.
